A LibSyn-inspired Podcast hosting service. Initially created in December of 2004 as a simple browser upload interface with some feed creation tools, it over time developed into a somewhat more advanced system, including weblog functionality based on Gerrit von Aaken's loudblog software.
At times, it hosted up to 60% of German language amateur podcasts (as in: not by a radio or tv station), serving over two million downloads each month.
Since November of 2006 PodHost is owned and run by Liquid Air Lab.
